The effects of inter-species competition on photosynthesis and gas exchange traits of saplings of selected 𝘌𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘴 species

Erin’s MSc is focused on how competition affects the physiology of several Eucalyptus species through the lens of their individual bioclimatic niches. Using both the Li-COR 6400 and LI-COR 600F she’s performing intensive measurements of photosynthesis of the four species planted at the IMPACT OAL to understand interspecific competition between Eucalyptus species. Her project forms part of a collaborative project between the Global Change Biology Group and EucXylo, which is overseen by Prof. Guy Midgley and Prof. David Drew.
