Dynamic root phenotyping of the root system architecture for different 𝘌𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘴 species at varying levels of competition

Nathan will be deploying newly developed mini-rhizotrons at the IMPACT site for the dynamic root phenotyping of the root system architecture for different Eucalyptus species at varying levels of competition. The images collected will be post-processed using machine learning to isolate roots and extract meaningful data related to other relevant environmental or above ground plant physiological characteristics.
